This was the first game of Tuesday night infinity! Zayin and I squared off in Agoge for a mission of frontline.
Zayin likes 200 pt lists, so I used an older list that I had built to try and hack hackers. A bit foolish when fighting Aleph, but it’s all in good fun.
After several mutual fails, Zayin won the initial roll-off, and opted to deploy first. I opted to make the first move.
I moved my two sakeil triads up the right and left boardwalks to try and get a good foothold on some forward zones. I moved keesan’s triad up the centre, and took a few shots with her. Her k1 rifle managed to take the asura out, and some sort of other robot. This was largely the end of my orders.
My defensive turn involved some great shots against some advancing dakini, which really took the wind out of the sails of the aleph advancement.
Now with my full orders, I was able to push further into the Aleph zones and take out a few more Aleph troops. At this point, Zayin was basically tabled, and we called the game.
The dice were not in Aleph’s court tonight, and that should be my last mixed metaphor of this report.
