Scenario: Antenna Field
Nazroth – Corregidor vs PHM – Imperial Service
[REPORT]Sorry guys but this time I’m just bissed for the campaign to continue three weeks beyond the supposed finish line. I jump from one battle report to another, seeing people just spam their reports – so I lost interrest in preparing something of worth. Instead I’ve made a lot of pictures and can only say this:
This was one of the most interresting battles for me. First one after HSN3 showed up – with totally new armylists. I won the command roll and while PHM’s ISS deployed out of sight, my Corregidor was able to take control of the table – unchallenged. I’ve synced three out of five antennas, baggage-produced some Crazy Koalas (after sending more of these to ‘Stand By’. I did not kill a single IS miniature in my entire first turn, but instead produced, advanced, buffed Lunokhod with Hacker, provided awesome shooting positions for my miniatures – so good, as to totally overshoot PHM’s forces in his first turn. Lunokhod with B2 Reaction (hacker) was just crazy good, killin Celestial Guard Controller (no smoke for YJ) and Quang Shi. I even used Bandit Killer-Hacker, dealing death and taking control of fourth (central) antenna. So many cool situations, with Su-Jian being killed by a regular (not linked) Alguacil, so that I did not risked my LINK being broken. At that point Su-Jian was already NWI after taking three wounds from Lupe’s Panzerfaust. Many – many good decisions and some nice critical-hit overshoots saw me in a total control of the entire table at the start of my second turn. I just advanced further and killer IS troops one by one. I actually lost some stuff due to PHM’s skilled target selection – Reaktion Zond, ML Alguacil, Lupe, Tomcat Doctor (which made me rethink this armylist for the future use). Still – I was also able to use a lot of different stuff, including AKRYLAT KANONE and KILLER-HACKER DEVICE. Swett thing – will gladly use these more!
In the end I controlled four out of five Antennas and had enemy HVT in ZOC of one of my minis. PHM was in retreat and did not managed to earn any Objective Points. Unfortunate as deep in my heart I wanted you to witness one of his victories throughout the campaign – but fate did not allowed for that.
In this way my story with Operation Flamestrike ends. Hope you had a nice ride with me. Sorry once again for this report’s quality – I just don;t have in me what it takes to produce another good report.
Best of luck and see you in the WEB!
